MAKING YOUR DONATION
PAD BOYS FOR LIFE & the Protect Her Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation, are hosting the "2021 Reign on Mays H.S. Cluster Drive" to provide sanitary napkins for our menstruating girls attending schools that are a part of the Atlanta Public Schools cluster school initiative and identified within the cluster of Benjamin E. Mays High School for the upcoming 2021/2022 school year.

Our goal in this project is to reduce school absences due to the lack of period supplies and the high cost of obtaining them.
An often-ignored public health crisis, nearly one in five girls miss school for lack of period supplies. We as alumni of B.E. Mays High School, Clarence L. Thomas III class of 89, and Joseph D. Smith class of 90, are working together to deliver 2,500-packs of Reign Premium Sanitary Napkins to Benjamin E. Mays H.S. Cluster of schools which is comprised of Benjamin E. Mays High School, Jean Childs Young Middle School, Beecher Hills Elementary School, L.P. Miles Elementary School, Cascade Elementary School, Peyton Forest Elementary School, and West Manor Elementary School.
"With your help, we can do it!"
Students will be able to pick up free period supplies from the school nurse office at their school.
Period poverty is a term that refers to inaccessibility to menstrual sanitary products due to financial barriers. It is estimated that the total cost of feminine health products over a lifetime is about $18,000. In addition, these items are often subject to sales tax despite being a medical necessity, and government programs for low-income families like WIC and SNAP do not cover the high expense of feminine hygiene products.
Low-income families are challenged to choose between food, bills, and health products. With the lack of attention and provisions for menstrual management, many girls are unnecessarily missing school.
We look forward to policies that remove the financial burden of these medically necessary items. Until then and as students are coming back to in-person school, We're so excited to support the girls in our Mays Cluster. Our girls need us to help and support. Donate what your heart tells you. No amount is too big or too small.

Giving your best donation today will enable us to reach our goal and to give our Mays Cluster girls "The Reign Experience" with Reign Premium Sanitary Napkins, the most comfortable sanitary napkins on the market today!
